THE GLOBAL CAMPAIGN

A LOCAL APPROACH TO GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT

If you want to go global you need to think—and act—local. You need to engage local networks, retain boutique PR firms, ally with local universities… in short, you have to go native.

The Industry Affairs Council understands that each market in your global campaign requires a unique strategy and bespoke execution. Let’s examine how we can execute on your global objectives.

LEVERAGING LOCAL VENUES FOR GLOBAL REACH

  • UNIVERSITY CAMPUS: No other venue has the buzz and excitement of a college campus. Hosting a strategic training session or executive briefing on the campus of a local university can spark conversation, garner earned media, and recruit allies and future leaders. Thoughtfully produced events on college campuses generate flywheel-like qualities—in that your initial engagement and investment will increase in momentum and power.

  • DAVOS, SWITZERLAND: Each year—for one week in the middle of winter—global influencers, policy makers, business leaders, and the media convene in the small Alpine village of Davos-Platz, Switzerland. The event is often called Davos—Davos has a power and influence all its own. The Industry Affairs Council makes Davos doable with comprehensive sponsorship packages that include accommodations, transportation, industry panels, one-on-one interviews, vlogging on the Promenade, receptions, and more.

  • UNGA: For the past 70 years the world’s leaders have descended on New York City to address the the UN General Assembly. Each September, from Prime Ministers and Presidents, to Ambassadors and Agency Directorates, come to New York to explore options for peace, trade, and sustainability. UNGA is a singular opportunity to meet with government officials, global thought leaders, and the international press. The Industry Affairs Council is expert at programming impactful panels and inserting its clients in high-level conversations and events.
